Mahmoud Abbas Foundation Alumni Association hosts a Ramadan Iftar for children in the Tyre area.

In an atmosphere of joy and celebration, and in affirmation of the role of alumni in contributing to society—especially within our camps and among our people—the Alumni Association organized a Ramadan Iftar for orphaned children, children of martyrs, and underprivileged families in the Tyre area. The Iftar, which was held at Al-Bass Camp, brought together children from the three camps in Tyre: Al-Bass, Burj Al-Shamali, and Rashidieh. The event included interactive segments and entertainment activities for the children before and after Iftar. A team of volunteers from the Alumni Association, along with several students benefiting from the foundation, welcomed the children, prepared the Iftar tables, shared the meal with them, and organized the entertainment activities. This initiative is part of a series of activities launched by the Alumni Association during the holy month of Ramadan, which will continue throughout the month. It will also be followed by additional community initiatives after Ramadan aimed at strengthening the bonds between students and alumni, and enhancing their connection with the wider community inside and outside the camps.
