Mahmoud Abbas Foundation
The Mahmoud Abbas Foundation is a non-profit charity registered in Palestine and Lebanon. It was established in 2011 to help Palestinian refugees in the diaspora, particularly in the camps in Lebanon, due to the difficult conditions they face there.

The journey of President Mahmoud Abbas has created a distinctive and valuable legacy, combining national struggle with its political, cultural, social, and educational dimensions. As a leader, he is characterized by honesty, integrity, knowledge, wisdom, and astuteness. Despite the difficulties and pain this journey has entailed, it has been a great one, full of giving, achievements, and success, providing a foundation for building the future. Based on this, the companions, friends, and admirers of President Mahmoud Abbas came together to establish and build a foundation dedicated to preserving this great legacy. Through it, the entire Palestinian society and all interested individuals can benefit from the various aspects of this journey, which is rich in sacrifice, authenticity, belonging, giving, and humanitarian, political, social, and educational concepts. In his honor and to immortalize his great contributions, the foundation was named after him.

We are also committed to empowering needy Palestinian families through solidarity programs that enhance their resilience, and we implement comprehensive initiatives in the fields of education and community empowerment, in partnership with local and international institutions, to ensure an effective and sustainable impact on the lives of individuals and communities.

Student Program
The Student Program is considered the cornerstone of the Mahmoud Abbas Foundation's work. The program aims to provide university and vocational scholarships to Palestinian students in Lebanon based on objective principles and standards.
It provides full and partial scholarships to Palestinian students in Lebanon at universities and institutes accredited by the foundation.
It encourages students to contribute to volunteer work and community initiatives to foster a spirit of giving, belonging, and social responsibility.
Family Solidarity Program
Family Solidarity Program
It provides ongoing monthly assistance to around 500 vulnerable Palestinian families in Lebanon and aims to strengthen their livelihood resilience amid the difficult economic conditions.
Providing financial assistance and basic necessities to needy families to ensure a dignified life.
Providing therapeutic services or support to cover the costs of treatment and medicine for the most needy groups.
Supporting families psychologically and socially through guidance and follow-up programs to improve their quality of life.

The projects include support and relief initiatives in Jerusalem and marginalized areas of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, covering home renovations as well as the provision of medical, educational, and humanitarian assistance.
